She is a Romanian-born American professional female bodybuilder who has won multiple IFBB (International Federation of BodyBuilding and Fitness) professional competitions. Popa is known for her muscular and toned physique and is considered one of the top female bodybuilders in the world. She has won the IFBB Pro Women's Bodybuilding Championship twice in 2013 and 2014 and has also competed in other competitions such as the Arnold Classic and Ms. Olympia.
